Placement requirements

Place on a Stable Surface: Ensure the ice maker is on a dry, level surface, away from heat sources like ovens or heaters, and avoid exposure to corrosive gases.

Allow Space: Leave at least 6 inches of clearance on all sides for proper ventilation.

Wait Before First Use: Let the ice maker sit upright for 2 hours before using it for the first time.

Limit Tilt: Keep the ice maker’s incline angle below 45° during transport or use.

Don’t Flip: Avoid turning the ice maker upside down, as this can affect the compressor or cooling system.

Settle Time After Moving: After moving the ice maker, wait a while to allow the compressor fluids to settle.

Temperature requirements

Operating Temperature: Use the ice maker in environments between 50°F (10°C) and 90°F (32°C).

Avoid Extreme Cold: Don’t use the ice maker in environments below 41°F (5°C).

Water Temperature: For making ice or cleaning, use water between 46°F (8°C) and 82°F (28°C).

Discard the first batch of ice
Before your first use, add water to the side tank, start the ice-making cycle, and discard the initial batch of ice, this helps to ensure the best taste.
