1. Water Tank Has Water, But the "Add Water" Light is On:
- Blocked Water Screen: Clean the water screen at the bottom of the reservoir or side tank.
- Pump or Valve Malfunction: Contact service@gevi.com for support
*Check if the machine can run the cleaning cycle and if water circulates from the top to the reservoir. If not, it may be a pump issue. If water circulates, run the cleaning cycle with a cleaning solution, then rinse with purified water 3 times to remove residue.
2. "Ice Full" Light is On:
- Full Ice Basket: Remove ice and press the button to restart the ice-making cycle.
- Infrared Sensor Malfunction: Contact customer service for repair.
3. Power and Clean Lights Stay On:
- Defrosting: No action needed, it will be resolved in 30-45 minutes. Alternatively, press and hold the button for 3 seconds, then restart the appliance after cleaning.
4. Poor Ice-Making Performance (Crushed Ice or Over 2 Hours for Ice):
- Poor Ventilation: Ensure 6-inch clearance around the ice maker.
- High Water Temperature: Use water between 46°F and 82°F.
- High Ambient Temperature: Operate the machine between 50°F and 90°F.
- System Malfunction: Contact customer service.
5. Noise Issues:

Unplug for 24 hours, ensuring 6-inch clearance around the machine.

Plug in and hold the Clean button for 3 seconds to start defrosting (30 minutes).

Run the cleaning cycle with a solution, then rinse with water 4 times.

Resonance Noise: Tap the area generating noise to reduce the gap between the front and back shells.

Compressor or Fan Noise: Contact service@gevi.com if the noise is excessive.
6. Leak Issues:

Excess water: Unplug the ice maker and check if there’s excess water added or if the machine is on a level surface.

If both are ruled out, the machine may need repair or replacement.
