2. Coffee Extraction Issues
New machine: No coffee or slow dripping:

Causes and checks:

Coffee grounds are too fine.

Excessive tamping pressure.

Water tank is empty: Add water to the tank.

Air pump not working: If the pump has been idle for a long time, use the hot water function continuously to unblock it.

Solutions: Adjust grind size and tamping pressure; add water; use the hot water function.

Coffee lacks crema or has little crema:

Causes and checks:

Coffee beans/grounds are stale or expired: Use fresh coffee beans/grounds.

Coffee grounds are too coarse: Adjust the grinder to a finer setting.

Using light-roast coffee beans: Switch to dark-roast beans.

Solutions: Replace with fresh coffee beans/grounds; adjust grind size; use dark-roasted coffee beans.

Coffee quantity is too much/too little:

Causes and checks:

Personal preference: Adjust the coffee volume according to the manual. The default settings are 30-50ml for a single shot and 50-70ml for a double shot.

Insufficient coffee grounds (too little coffee): Suitable amounts are approximately 13g for a single shot and 19g for a double shot.

Excessive tamping pressure (too little coffee).
