Important Notes
-
After extraction, always return the control knob to the “Standby” position.

Avoid touching the metal part of the portafilter after extraction, as it will be hot.
-
If the machine runs continuously for 30 minutes, let it cool for 10 minutes before the next use.
Steps for Brewing Coffee
-
Choose the Right Filter Basket
-
Use single-wall filters (1-cup or 2-cup) for freshly ground coffee to experiment with grind size, dose, and tamping pressure.
-
Use dual-wall filters (1-cup or 2-cup) for pre-ground coffee, which optimize extraction regardless of grind size or tamping.
-
For 1 cup, use the 1-cup filter basket; for 2 cups or stronger coffee, use the 2-cup filter basket.
-
-
Add Coffee Grounds: Use the provided scoop to add coffee grounds. For more accuracy, refer to the weight chart below.
-
Tamp the Coffee Grounds: Compress the grounds until they reach the "MAX" line (as shown). Apply 10-15 kg of pressure.
-
Brew the Coffee
-
Turn the control knob to the “1-cup” or “2-cup” position.
-
The pump will activate, and the “Coffee” indicator light will flash. Coffee will start extracting after a few seconds.
-
Stop extraction by turning the control knob back to the “Standby” position when the desired amount of coffee is reached.
-
-
The coffee is Ready!
Milk Frothing Tips
-
Milk Choice: Use whole milk (not skim milk) for frothing. The ideal temperature for milk is 3-8°C (37-46°F).
-
Milk Amount: Use about 100 mL of milk.
-
Milk Frothing Cup: Use a 300-350 mL stainless steel milk frothing cup.
-
Preheating: Turn the control knob to the “Steam” position. The “Steam/Hot Water” indicator light will flash. It may take a moment for the steam to appear. Turn the control knob back to the “Standby” position to pause the steam.
-
Position the Steam Wand: Within 8 seconds of Step 2, Hold the milk frothing cup and place the steam wand 2-4 cm into the milk and turn the control knob back to the “Steam” position.
-
Frothing Completion: Stop frothing when the milk reaches 60-65°C (140-149°F) or when the base of the milk frothing cup is too hot to touch for 3 seconds.
