Cleaning Guide After Each Use
After Frothing Milk

Turn the steam knob to the off position and remove the steam wand from the milk cup.

Turn the steam knob to the steam icon and release steam for 60 seconds to flush away milk residue.

Wipe the steam wand with a damp cloth and remove the cover to clean the inside.
After Brewing Coffee

Discard the used coffee puck and remove the filter from the portafilter. (Align the marking dot on the filter with the groove on the portafilter.)

Rinse the filter thoroughly under running water. Soak the filter in a descaling solution for 60 minutes, then brush and rinse it with clean water.

Rinse the portafilter, including its inner and outer holes, with clean water (Do not use a descaler, and do not put it in the dishwasher, as it may cause discoloration of the handle.)

Dry both the filter and portafilter with a clean cloth.

Wait for the machine to complete heating (all buttons illuminated). Press the single cup button once to rinse the group head. Wipe off coffee grounds from the group head with a clean cloth.

Empty and rinse the drip tray, then dry and replace it.

Wipe the machine with a clean cloth.
Descaling the machine:
Descaling Process

Ensure the machine is in Standby Mode and the water tank is empty.

Prepare 34 fl. oz of descaling solution (use Gevi Coffee Machine Descaler for best results). Pour it into the water reservoir.

Remove the portafilter and place a large container under the group head and steam wand.

Press and hold the POWER / GRIND and EXTRACTION buttons for 2 seconds to enter descaling mode.

Turn the Steam/Hot Water Dial to STEAM. Steam and water will be released from the steam wand and group head.

When the process stops, turn the dial to STANDBY. Discard any remaining solution in the tank.

Add 34 fl. oz of fresh water to the reservoir, empty the container, and place it back.

Turn the dial to HOT WATER. Water and steam will be released to rinse the system.

Once the process stops, turn the dial to STANDBY, discard the remaining water, and clean the tank.

Repeat the rinse process with fresh water if needed to remove residue.
